Obituary for Stephanie Kawailani Milerski
Funeral services for Stephanie Kawailani Milerski will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in Castor Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the family and friends of Mrs. Milerski will be held at Saint Michael’s from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26th with the rosary at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Milerski was born on September 6, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away on September 22, 2018, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 72. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, loved to read, and was devoted to her family. They have this to say about their mother:
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Our Mother, Stephanie, will continue to participate in every act, thought, and decision we make. Her love has left an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared her love.
Mrs. Milerski was preceded in death by her parents James and Ester Evans, granddaughter Paxton Matu’u, sister Phyllis Marse, and brother Taylor Evans.

Daughters: Samanatha K. Matu’u and husband Patolo and Shannon K. Milerski all of Leesville, LA

Grandchildren: Skylar Matu’u, Sabian Matu’u, Sophie Milerski, and Siegfried Milerski
Step grandchildren: Logan, Lanie, and Landon Roberts
Great grandchildren: Kane and Kai Matu’u
Pallbearers will be Sean Milerski, Siegfried Milerski, Patolo Matu’u, Skylar Matu’u, Sabian Matu’u, Jack Ellzey, John Ellzey, and Josh Maks.
